Milly and I go back to 1958 when Dan and I entered the first grade at Wayland School. Since then life has taken us both in many directions but Milly always was in touch and her warm, gentle and loving nature always shown through. It was always fun to be on the farm in my youth, Milly always welcoming and kind. Since Marie and I have moved to the village at Wesbury, it has been my privilege to visit Milly often. She could not always tell you my name but each time we would put bits and pieces together to make our time meaningful and special. Last Friday night, although life was fast waning, Milly wanted a hug. I'll miss those hugs Milly and I will always remember the wonderful times we have shared over the last 59 years.
