When thinking of Sandy, I'm drawn to a very special, loving and kind spirit. I remember Sandy from when we were very young and she taught me, the oldest of five "tough as nails boys" how to stitch a car or truck on a handkerchief. I think I did both and even sewed on a button or two. Only Sandy, with that special patience she possessed, could have pulled that off. So many pleasant memories from Sagertown, Pa. on to LA, Calif. while I was in the military. From McKean, Pa. to Akron, Ohio, she was always the same... sweet Sandy and we miss her dearly.
