Nancy was my boss while working at the Telephone company. She just was the best person to work for because work was always fun. I loved my job so much because of her. I worked "Strike Duty" with Nancy when the employees went on strike. Well we all  worked long hours,  I mean 15  hours a day but oh boy was the paycheck nice!! So one day Nancy decides to play a little joke on me and one that I almost died!!! Here it was a payday and I had left my purse near my desk but go to find that my purse was no longer at my desk. I went nuts, i cashed my paycheck and had all this money in my purse, but no purse. I went around the office frantic and gettng chest pains then finally find out that Mrs. Artman took my purse and hid it!  Did I get mad at her, you bet..Will I ever forget this, No but I did forgive her!!

Another time, Nancy lent me her car to do an earrand.  So as i did my earrand, i got out of the car and left the car running,  As i return I could not get in the car finding out that I left the car running and lock the car ~~ I called Nancy back at the office and all she did was laugh!!  And you know what we laughed 30 years later about all these stories and things that happened to us. Could not have had a better friend, boss and person.
