MEADVILLE - Lorraine Janice Swanson Weaver, 70, of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 25, 1946 in Titusville, Pennsylvania a daughter of Harold Swanson and Mildred Mogush. She married John Weaver he preceded her in passing.

Lorraine was employed by Trueweld; and also a member of the Italian Civic Club, Vernon Central, and the Eagles.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim Pingel of Meadville; stepson John Weaver, Jr. and his son Josh Weaver of Saegertown; grandchildren, Amanda Camp and her husband Michael, and Tybreia Thrush; great grandchildren, Joshua Swanson, Matthew Swanson, Chloe Swanson, Clyde Hoague, Seranity Hoague, Samuel Camp, and Jeremiah Camp; and a brother, Terry Swanson of Blooming Valley; a sister-in-law, Janice Tripp.

In addition to her husband; she was also preceded in death by a step-father, Frank Mogush.

Services will be private and burial will take place in Saint Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
