JAMESTOWN - John William (Bill) Blythe, 87, of Westford, PA, passed away November 26, 2016 at the Marquette Hospice House in Meadville, PA. He was born on August 11, 1929 in McKeesport, PA; son of the late John Blythe and Louise Gates Blythe Mitall. He married Evelyn Elmore Blythe on married Oct 23, 1951.

John graduated from McKeesport High School, proudly served in the United States Army from 1951-1953, and worked for Bell Atlantic Telephone Company for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn Elmore Blythe of Westford, PA; daughters Barbara Miller and husband John of Westford, PA; Marjorie Gould and husband Richard of Butler, PA; Vicki Rothmeyer and husband William of Westford, PA; grandsons Evan Gould of Pittsburgh, PA; Robert Gould of Pittsburgh, PA; sister Patricia Smith and husband Gerry of Tucson, AZ; brother Robert Mitall and wife Margaret of Murrysville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother James Blythe.

Services were private per John's wishes. Arrangements were handled by the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
