Condolences

Condolence From: Judy Chesko
Condolence: Fran and Jenny were my next-door neighbors. They watched my children grow up. Fran and Jenny would sit in the backyard and always invite my children over. They would give them pop, candy, and popcicles. For many years we would go over to their house on Christmas Eve to wish them a Merry Christmas. They were wonderful neighbors.
Fran was a special person. Fran loved to tell stories. I loved when he told stories about War World II. Fran loved to have a beer. He was always offering one to my husband. As he got older and his illness progressed, he would walk through the backyard to town to have a beer and talk to friends. Fran also loved to play golf and do yard work. He was constantly cutting the grass or pulling weeds. My son reminded me how he would stand in the backyard and call the geese as they flew over.
Fran was a friendly, energetic man, who I was fortunate to know and love. He will be missed. My sympathy to his family.

Condolence From: Al Schutte
Condolence: The New England Air Museum, home of the 58th Bomb Wing Memorial, sends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of this true American patriot and hero. His time with the Claude Leighty crew flying missions over Japan brought an early end to the war and saved countless lives.

May he rest in peace.
