Obituary for Nicholas Gable Sr.

MEADVILLE - Nicholas Gable, Sr. 83 of Kerrtown, passed away at home on April 22, 2016 surrounded by his family after years of failing health. He was born on February 18, 1933 to the late Albert and mary Chest Gable.

He worked at Meadville Malllable for over 20 years. He married the late Dorothy Peterman in 1954, he later married Barbara Sinibaldi in 1966 she survives.

He enjoyed looking for cars, playing bingo at kerrtown and getting lottery tickets.

He is survived by three sons, William Gable and his wife Margie of TN; Robert Gable of South Carolina and Nicholas Gable, Jr. and his wife Angie of Meadville; two daughters, Cindy Piercy and Sheila Sampson of Meadville; five grandsons, William (Jessica) Gable, Jr., ; Joshua and Jeremy Piercy; Justin Gable and Zachary Sampson; nine granddaughters, Brandy and Bobbie Jo (Tereasa) Gable; Stacey (Gene) Langlois; Alyssa Gable; Jenna (John) Farnsworth; Jennifer and NIcole Foust and Lhea Stone and Tonya Troutman; 13 great grandchildren; great grandson, Bentley Gable and soon to be granddaughter Jess Wagner. A special bingo friend, Marian Hickman, two dear family friends, Becky Jones and Pauline Prince. Two brothers, Butch (Trish) Gable and Donald (Nancy) Gable, both of Florida; two brothers-in-law, John (Mary) Sinibaldi of Iowa and James Johnston of Meadville; two former sisters-in-law, whom he kept in touch with, Betty Lou of Ohio and Rachel (Rick) Barr of Meadville and a former son-in-law Marty Sampson of Florida. Also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Daniel in 1967, his first wife and a son-in-law, Gerald Piercey.

Per his wishes there will be no calling hours and a celebration of his life will be held in July. You can send cards or tell a memory to his family at 11703 Park Row, Meadville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Burial will take place at Venango Cemetery.
