Obituary for Catherine Pauline Nichols (Stearns)
MEADVILLE - Catherine Pauline Nichols, 71, of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Golden Living Center Western Reserve. She was born in Meadville on June 30, 1944, to the late Samuel Glenn and Florence Evelynn Miller Stearns.
Catherine enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, collecting, nature walks, she loved animals, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie Kutz of Springboro, PA; son, Gary Nichols of Erie; grandchildren; Kirsten and Kreo Ehret and Teresa, Kaitlyn and Macaila Nichols; of Corry; and Andrea and Jenna Kutz two brothers, David Stearns and his wife Shirley of Meadville; and Jim Stearns and his wife Charlotte of Nevada; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by by three brothers, Lawrence Stearns; Elwood Stearns; and John Stearns; and a very close aunt, Avella Rhoades.
Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.
