SAEGERTOWN - Harriett Annetta Kidon, 91, of the Crawford County Care Center, passed away, Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was born in Meadville on October 16, 1924, a daughter of the late George and Alice Spaid Yarnell. Harriett married Emil E. Kidon on June 28, 1952, he preceded her in death on September 13, 1973.

She worked for Talon Inc. prior to raising her children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, flowers, making jewelry and making crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, two brothers, George and Raymond Yarnell and her son-in-law William Coons.

Harriett is survived by her sister Lois Donley of Poway, CA; two sons, Milton and Randall Kidon of Meadville; two daughters, Beverly Kidon of Meadville and Darla Coons of Erie; two grandchildren, Ryan Coons of Madison, AL; and Barbara Coons of Erie; several cousins and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.

Harriett was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church and past member of the Altar Rosary Society.

The family wishes to thank all of the personnel at the Crawford County Care Center and those specially on Maple Avenue who cared for Harriett for the past three years.

Friends and family may call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 544, Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 7:30.

Burial will take place at St. Agatha Cemetery on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M..
