MEADVILLE - Eleanor Marie King, 93 of 31 N. Park Avenue, a life long resident of Meadville, died February 4, 2016, at Wesbury, after a period of declining health. She was born on November 2, 1922, daughter of the late Charles and Emma Hoke King.

She graduated from St. Agatha's High School in 1940, and worked most of her career at Bowler's Jewelry Store. She helped raise a niece, Marlene Collins Valentine, and enjoyed visiting her family in Arizona. She liked doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, baking and enjoyed her family.

Eleanor was a member of St. Agatha's Church and was al lifetime member of St. Agatha's Altar Rosary Society. She was a former member of the St. Agatha Funeral Choir.

She is survived by Marlene of Gilbert, AZ and her family, other nieces and nephews, Jim (Martha) King; Joyce (John) Anderson; Tom (Gerry) King; Larry King; Judy (John) Luckey; Paul (Judy) King; Lee (Ron) Petersen; Jeanette Franz; Mary Ann (Mike) Lynch; Margaret Winters; Diane King; Marilyn (Fred) Taylor; Steve (Linda) King and Chuck King.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mabelle (Stanley Sr.) Hargenrater; Gertrude (Leo) Collins & Anna Mae King; Three brothers, Charles (Pearl); Victor (Mary) and Willis (Ellen) King; and nephews Vincent and Donald King and Stanley Hargenrater, Jr..

Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. There will be a Prayer Service held at 6:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11:00am at Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, with Father Tom Trocchio as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Saint Agatha Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to St. Agatha Church, 535 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335; or to Wesbury United Methodist Community, 31 N. Park Avenue; Meadville, PA 16335.
