The last few days have seemed surreal and I keep wishing that I would wake up from a dream. Through my whole life there was always one constant figure.....it was you. There are no words to express the hole that has been left in my heart. I'm not able to grasp the idea of life without you. I will always miss your strength, encouragement, guidance, "nobody likes a smarty", and seeing you with my girls. My gosh how they loved their "papa". Austin and I were so lucky to have you for a grandfather, couldn't really have been anyone better selected for us. You were my dad, my role model, and my hero. You always will be, nobody could ever compare. There is no doubt in my mind that if you weren't there to raise me, I would in no way be where I am today. I am thankful for all of my years with you, all of the memories, and life lessons you taught me. Austin and I are who we are because of you. I love you, miss you, and will always hold you dear. Watch out for my girls, be their guardian angel for me. Till I see you again Pops.
