MEADVILLE - Robert L. Brown, 81, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. He was born on March 13, 1934.

Robert was proud to be a USA Army Veteran. He was a past exulted Ruler of the B.P.O. Elks #219 and Monarch of Kismet Grotto of Meadville. He graduated from Cambridge Springs High School in 1956.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Mrs. Iris W. Brown of Meadville; three special nieces, Sue, Deni and Karen DeBaise and their father Art DeBaise; his best friends Barbara and Gene Pratt and Jim and his wife Debbie and their sons, Jason and Orry; his sister-in-law Doris Peters and her children, Sharon, Robin and Rick.

Robert is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Petie DeBaise. He will be sadly missed by his cherished wife Doopie and his cat, Buddy.

There will be no calling hours at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
