TOWNVILLE - Boyd A. Armstrong, Sr., 89 of Townville, passed away, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at MeadvilleMedical Center. Boyd was born on April 25, 1926, son of the late Leslie and Francis Foster Armstrong. He was married to Naomi Ruth Jennings Armstrong, she preceded him in death in July 2001.

Boyd was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Army. He worked at Cyclops for 47 years in the maintenance department. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also helping his son BoydArmstrong, Jr., remodel houses.

Survivors include, his son, Boyd Armstrong, Jr., and his wife Brenda of Townville; three grandchildren, Ricki McIver, Tami Bossard and Ami Armstrong; great grandchildren, Shawn McIver, Erikka McIver, Devyn Bossard and KelsiArmstrong; also his brother Lee Armstrong and his wife Charlene of Titusville.

In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Boyd was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Ralph, Frank and Duane.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
