Condolence: We are saddened by Jim's passing but are rejoicing that he is in heaven. We regret we cannot be at the service. In Ohio helping Johannah move into her new apartment. So many dear memories we all have of Jim and Cathy! They were such a huge part of our lives for so many years when we were at Lyona! Everyone of us had tears when we heard of Jim's home going. One time when we were visiting Jim and Cathy when our boys were little, we couldn't find them. After looking for a short time, there they were with Jim climbing a tree. I think the last 4 of our 7 children had Jim in "Cubbies" with the Awana Program at Lyona Bible Church. They all loved Jim. All the wonderful dinners Jim and Cathy had for our family will never be forgotten. The times Jim would get the horses out for the kids to ride will always be a special memory. We have several pictures of these beautiful memories that we will cherish a very long time. Jim was a Godly man and the best deacon Lyona Bible church ever had! He was a servant through and through. We look forward to the day to join he and Cathy in our new residence called Heaven. But until then we will be better Christians here on this earth because of the life Jim Carpenter lived.

Condolence: i remember Jim as being such a kind and gentle man, filled with compassionate understanding for all people. I am so blessed to have met him only twice or three times through Christine. At the times of those few encounters, he had changed my life. I am so grateful! Thank you, Christine, for introducing me to him. May time heal the grief of the family's loss . You are in my prayers and daily meditation.
Much love and light, Annette
