Mary C. Schreck, 91, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, September 12, 2015 a Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She was born on October 24, 1923 in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania a daughter of Raymond Reed, Sr. and Mayme Myers Reed. She married Donald Schreck on June 2, 1951, he preceded her in death.

Mary was employed with American Viscose in the quality control department for 42 years until her retirement.

She loved crocheting, reading, quilting, and learned to paint when she was in her 60’s. Mary was known to many of her family members as Aunt Sis.

Mary is survived by a brother, James Reed and his wife Barbara of Sandy Lake; and 12 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ray Reed, Jr.; Boyd Reed; and Howard Reed; 2 nephews, Boyd Reed, Jr., and Jeffrey Reed; and two sister in laws, Mary Reed and Alice Reed.

Friends and family are invited to an hour of viewing, Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M., at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mad to the Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335, or to Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, 31 Park Avenue, Meadville, PA 16335.
