Obituary for Charlotte Rae Emig (Marrow)

Charlotte Rae  Emig (Marrow)
Charlotte Rae Emig, 85, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, August 22, 2015 a Meadville Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1930 a daughter of Stanley and Lillian Morrow. She married James Emig on October 29, 1949, he preceded her in death on July 12, 1993.

Charlotte was a graduate of Meadville Area High School and was a homemaker but later in life worked at Brown Jones and Eckerd Drug Store.

She was a devoted member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, where she held many offices of the years.

Charlotte was a loving mimi to her two grandchildren, Brennan and Carleigh.

When she was younger she enjoyed rollerskating and square dancing with her husband, Jim.

Charlotte is survived by a loving daughter, Melinda Brenot and her husband Patrick of Cochranton; two grandchildren, Brennan Lippert and his companion Brittany Elder and Carleigh Lippert; a great grandson, Ezra Lippert; a step grandson, Michael Brenot; a wonderful friend and neighbor, Beverley Nutter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her loving husband, Jim; she was preceded by her parents, Stanley and Lillian Morrow: a brother, Gerald Morrow; and her sons, Gregg and Ronald Emig.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral and committal service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00am with Reverend Timothy Solomon of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be private at Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
