Obituary for William Henry Walk

William Henry  Walk
William Henry Walk, 88, of Meadville, passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Meadville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born on January 6, 1927 in Powelton, Pennsylvania a son of Michael J. Walk, Sr. and Elizabeth Ladenberger Walk.

He served with the U.S. Army and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Army Occupation Ribbon, and World War II Victory Ribbon.

William owned and operated Walk's Service Stations and also was employed at Viscose and Systematic Tool.

He enjoyed hunting.

William is survived by a brother, George Walk and his wife Sylvia of Erie; a niece, Cynthia Walk of Erie; and a nephew, Robert Walk of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael J. Walk, Jr., John Walk, and Edward Walk; six sisters, Mary Louise Walk, Janet Barabas, Judy Kircher, Elizabeth Bender, Virginia Walk, and Frances Wisgirda.

There will be no calling hours or services at this time.
