The Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., a trusted name in funerals, has been serving the people of Crawford County for nearly 100 years.  Established in 1917, by L. Jack Roofner, the original facility was located on lower Chestnut Street.

When Roofner’s daughter, Mary Ann, married; her new husband Robert Collins Sr., joined his father-in-law in the family business.  Together, in 1969, the two men built a new modern facility.  The business moved to upper Chestnut Street where it remains today.  Roofner and Collins dedicated their lives to city of Meadville and its surrounding communities.  In 1980, after 50 years of service, Mr. Roofner passed away.

In 1988, the third generation, Robert Collins Jr. joined his father at the funeral home.  A second branch in Townville was added at this time.  Known as the Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, it is the oldest existing funeral home in Crawford County, founded in 1875.  Father and son worked together until Collins Sr. became ill and passed away on October 14, 2005.  He had devoted his life for over 55 years to the funeral business building a reputation for compassionate and caring service that still continues today.

Robert Collins Jr continued the legacy of his father and grandfather for several years.  In 2009, Ryan M. Warren purchased Roofner-Collins Funeral Home and joined the business.  In 2010 the funeral home became known as Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.  Working together, Warren and Collins share the same vision, they are proud to uphold Roofner-Collins heritage and commitment to the Meadville community.  Constantly looking ahead, they will continue making it their priority to provide the best quality of care and comforting of service and support to those they serve.
